Hi, all!
I am a Postdoc Research Associate at Dr Susanne Bornelöv’s lab at University of Cambridge, working on developing better methods to train and interpret deep learning models for codon usage and gene expression control. My PhD is in Machine Learning and Computational Biology at University of Edinburgh, supervised by Prof Diego Oyarzún and Prof Grzegorz Kudla. Before my PhD, I obtained a BSc in Chemistry at Fudan University, and an MSc in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and synthetic biology, with a particular emphasis on deep learning methods for optimisation of protein production and the genotype-phenotype mapping problem.
